I knew it was only a matter of time before this book made it's way into our household.  What I didn't realize was just how seriously cute it is!  I even love this book.  Okay, I would love it more if I didn't have to read it 18 times a day, but it is very cute.  And my Little Pea just can't get enough.  I just know she dreams of it at night, because in the morning she asks to read it first thing.  If you have little girls you NEED this book.  They will love it!

My little girl loves PINK and it doesn't look like that is going to stop any time soon.  Thanks for the new book Grammie!

Winner, winner

As you all know there are a lot of blogs out there that do giveaways.  I used to leave comments on these posts all of the time....  I never won anything.  I gave up.  

Now it's very rare that I attempt to win a giveaway.  I only enter if it is something I'll probably buy anyway.  And guess what?!  I'm sure you know where I am going with this.

They look so seriously fun!  Joyfolie has a shop if you are interested.  I think Little may need a pair of these or these.  I'm totally addicted.  Joyfolie has got a new customer for life.  :)

Minnie Mouse Hair Clips

Since we have an annual pass to Disneyland we've been quite a few times this year.  Truth be told I was never a huge fan of the place.  Those long lines and crowds... just not my scene, but then we went last year with my nephews, and somehow I got swept up in the Disney magic and bought a pass.  

It's all so different when you have a child that is experiencing the magic for the first time.  Now that I have the pass, I love it.  I love being able to go for one hour or all day.  The flexibility is key with a toddler in tow.

While at Disneyland, I saw these adorable Minnie Mouse hair clips on these little girls and thought... hum... I could totally make those.  As you know, the lines for rides are a bit long, so I studied the way the clips looked and committed it to memory.  I found out later they are all over the place on Etsy, but still decided to make my own.

Was this task do-able? .......... Yes

Was I up until 2 am several nights in a row making these? ................ Yes

Would I do it again? ............ You bet! 

These were an extra little item in the girl's goodie bags at Little Pea's kid birthday party.

Here is how I packaged them. It's all in the presentation for me.  :)  Sorry for the horrible glare on the plastic baggies, but you get the idea.

Little Pea wore her clips on her actual birthday when we went to Disney and she did pretty good at leaving them in.

Get up and go

 The past few weeks Little and I haven't had our usual Mommy and Me classes to go to.  Things ended for the summer and that left us a little out of sorts.  I was determined to step things up this week and may have over done it...

• The Hubs was off of work on Monday (recovering from that bachelor party he went to.  We aren't 21 anymore.  Hee!)  
• Tuesday, Little and I met some new friends at a park for her first real play date. 
• Wednesday, we went to Mommy and Me Yoga for the first time.  (This was awesome!  I highly recommend it to anyone with kids any age.  Little loved it and even wanted to practice at home after.)
• Today, (Thursday) we went to a new toddler ballet class I found in Laguna Beach.  
• And tomorrow, (Friday) we are off to the Microsoft Store to try out Interactive Story Time.

Let's just say, I am tired, but very happy and Little has been a very happy baby.  We love to get up and go.  The only problem with this schedule is, well, I haven't had any time for errands.  But seriously, who really needs to go grocery shopping or pick up the dry cleaner, right?

I packed a picnic lunch for us today and after ballet class we took it over to the beach.  I got some great shots of little and she loved people watching.

Huggies Jeans Diapers

How awesome are these new Huggies Jeans diapers!  So cute!  I may never put pants on my little one again!  :)

Crazy 8

 

I was at our local mall today and found out that one of my favorite children's clothing stores, Crazy 8, is going in there!  I've only ever ordered their clothes on-line.  They have a flat rate of $5 for shipping.  So cool.  Their clothing prices are very reasonable.  Their cotton is so soft and I think the clothes are too cute, (like the outfit above!  I love the cuddle bug!)  

And aren't those shoes to die for? I love the open toe.  I want them in my size!
