Tiny Dancer

  

I've been slacking a bit with the blog lately.  We are heading out of town soon and there is always so much to do before a trip.  

I did have a chance to get a little scrapping in somehow.  It actually really relaxes me. 

The below layout is a lift (scraplift) of Jennifer Johner's hop scotch layout .  She was the guest designer for Studio Calico last month.  Her color combo really caught my eye and I knew I had to make one for me.  Thanks for the inspiration Jennifer!

 Journalling reads:  On March 22^nd, you went to your first dance class, Mommy and Me Princess Ballet.  You looked so cute in your leotard, tights and leg warmers. 

I realized at this first class just how tiny you really are.  You are the youngest and all of the other girls are taller than you.  Being small didn’t stop you one bit from giving this dancing thing your all.  Sure you couldn’t quite figure out all of the tow tapping, but you made it onto your tippy toes during that first class. 

I wonder if you’ll love dance as much as I always have.  It has always brought me such great joy. That is all I will do…wonder..  I’ll support you in whatever hobbies you choose.
